Marliyn holds a BA in Religion and Adult Education and an MA in Spirituality and Culture. She is a skilled creator and facilitator of adult programs that explore the interface of psyche, soma and spirit. She is also a counselor, a non-denominational minister, and a vocalist.
When she is not at the spa Marilyn enjoys officiating at weddings and giving workshops. She has also recently completed training to become a Certified Death-Midwife, and provides information on natural death care and services to families as a home funeral guide, including memorial services.
