I received my introduction to the Healing Arts in 1993 during an extended stay at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California, where I lived as a work scholar and studied Esalen massage and Energy Healing. I continued my massage training at Heartwood Institute in Garberville, California and the Massage Therapy Institute in Davis, California in 1998. I have been in practice since 1999.
Grounded in Swedish-Esalen massage, I offer a nurturing massage that may include elements of Acupressure, Reflexology, and Energy Balancing. Sessions vary from gentle relaxation to more vigorous bodywork, depending on clients' needs. I also offer Deep Tissue Massage.
My intention is to integrate the whole being, to foster a movement towards balance and inner harmony. Working from a place of acceptance and stillness, I invite my clients to soften and release areas of tension, to slow down, to breathe, and to more strongly reconnect with themselves.
